ATLANTA - Rapper William Reddick, also known as Slim 4187, is free on a $10,000 signature bond. He spent a few hours in the Fulton County lock up the result of a sting.
Atlanta police charged Reddick with theft by deception. The case all began when authorities said Slim leased a high-end SUV from a rental car company, but did not return it.
The company contacted its security firm, Norred & Associates. One of its investigators checked the rental agreement and found a phone number that matched the performer's Instagram page. The security company contacted APD.
A sting was made as Slim was invited to a meeting to discuss being hired for a future performance.
