Georgia law enforcement say they've arrested two suspects who came to Georgia from Alabama on a crime spree throughout the state.

According to Marietta police, they began investigating the crimes on Sunday afternoon around 3 when a check-cashing business called 911 to report an attempted robbery of the business. Five minutes later, a delivery driver for the Marietta Wings & More restaurant called 911 reporting that two men with guns had robbed the business, assaulted him, and stole his vehicle.

It wasn't long before a housekeeper at the Sleep Inn on the 1100 block of Powers Ferry Place called 911 to report two men walking around near the hotel carrying handguns.

Police say they quickly connected the 911 reports and took both suspects into custody, recovering the stolen vehicle, property, and cash.

“I am impressed with the way several citizens and first responders all worked together to bring these two armed and dangerous suspects into custody within approximately one hour of the start of their crime spree," Marietta Police Chief Flynn said in a statement. "This is another shining example of a community working together to keep our streets safe.”

The suspects have been identified as 19-year-old Quatreion Hughes of Torey, Alabama and 21-year-old Raiquon Anderson of Huntsville, Alabama. Both men face counts of attempted armed robbery with a weapon, felony armed robbery, and felony hijacking a motor vehicle.

If you have any information on any other criminal activity that may be connected to the two suspects, please call Marietta Detective Ellenson at 770-794-5477 or Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta at 404-577-8477.
