ATLANTA - A search is underway for two persons of interest wanted in connection with a deadly shooting in southeast Atlanta.
Police are trying to identify two men in surveillance video recorded near the Edgewood Avenue club district early Saturday morning.
Detectives believe a man in a white jacket and another man with a backpack may know something about the shooting that left 32-year-old Mitchell Mormon, of McDonough, dead and a woman he was with was injured. The woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Officers say the shooting happened at the corner of Edgewood Avenue and Boulevard.
Investigators are also asking if anyone has cell phone video of the crime to inform APD.
