CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Two years after Nikko Sepulveda and Ronald Triche were found brutally killed, investigators hope a $5,000 reward through Crime Stoppers will encourage people to come forward to help solve their murders.
On April 22, 2017, the 26-year-old Sepulveda and 22-year-old Triche were found shot dead on Lundy Lane. There is still no motive or suspects for the crime.
"I don't know who killed him yet. I want to know why. I want to know who," mother Jacqueline Sepulveda said tearfully, hoping after two years, someone will come forward with answers. She described Sepulveda as a father who dearly loved his four young children.
"Time passes by- but the wound will never heal," said mother Marjorie Triche. She said her son was an Atlanta Metro College student, a referee for kids who played wrestling and aspired to be a psychiatrist.
Two years ago, the parents said the friends were headed to the store when they ended up in the area of Lundy Lane; neighbors heard gunshots and the two were both found deceased.
In 2017, investigators released a photo of a man named "Lil Haiti," whose real name is Justin Logan, and call him a person of interest. They are still looking for him.
"There are killers walking around in Clayton County," Triche said.
