One of the 'Little Rock Nine' Speaks at Marist School

Civil Rights pioneer Ernest Green delivered the keynote speech Friday at Marist School's annual Diversity Assembly.

Green was part of the Little Rock Nine, a group of African-American students who integrated Little Rock, Arkansas' Central High School almost 60 years ago. Their actions helped mobilize a nation to insure access to a quality education was granted to all Americans.

Green said helping these students understand the past will help them build a better future.
