ATLANTA - Crews rescued six people trapped on top floor of a building under construction in northeast Atlanta after a crane collapsed.

Atlanta firefighters say six construction workers were stuck on the roof of this parking deck after a crane collapsed just after 3 p.m.
None of the construction workers were injured and all were safely rescued after firefighters extended a ladder from Engine 21 to the top of the six story structure on Roxboro Road.
It's not clear what caused the crane to bend, but firefighters say crews were hoisting a large cement beam the 12 story crane gave way.
