An incredible video shows a police officer arriving in time to save a little boy's life.

A police officer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin saved the child, who was suck in a storm drain.

The officer happened to be on patrol this week when he spotted a group of people panicking.

They were trying to pull the little boy from the drain.

The officer crouched down and pulled the boy close to his chest.

"I was able to kind of twist myself and him enough to wrench him away from the, the water vortex," Officer Kyle Henning said.

With the help of three other people on the scene, they were able to grab the boy and pull him to safety.

The boy's mother says she knows her son would not be here today if it weren't for Officer Henning's quick thinking and actions.

But Henning says he was just doing his job.

"That`s the whole thing of a first responder. You don`t question it. You just go in where people need help," he said.
