ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - The debate over medical marijuana took center stage at the State Capitol on Tuesday afternoon.
Lawmakers are considering a medical marijuana cultivation bill.
The bill would allow for in-state cultivation of medical marijuana within the state.
But many who attended a news conference Tuesday were concerned the drug could be used for full-blown recreational use if passed.
They also discussed the negative effects and risks of using marijuana.
Supporters of the bill say it would not* lead to recreational use of marijuana.
