HAPEVILLE, Ga. - A gun and drugs are off the streets after a foot chase with a suspect in Hapeville.

The Hapeville Police Department said that three officers, Officers Jones, Halten, and Lt. Hughes, were all involved in the chase of a suspect.
When ordered to take his hands out of his pockets, police say that the suspect refused, despite asking multiple times.
After a search, the officers found a pistol in the suspect pocket, as well as some drugs.
"These fine officers got a gun and drugs off the streets and no one was injured," the department posted on Facebook.
The identity of the suspect and charges have not been released.
