Georgia-based non-profit bridges the "digital divide": If there's one thing the pandemic has proven, it's that access to technology is vital -- especially for students. Inspiredu is a Georgia-based non-profit (a spin-off of PowerMyLearning), focused on providing student and their families the technology they need for education. That means working laptops, desktop computers, and tablets, given to local families at no charge.

Acclaimed songwriter gives Gingerbread Man a happily-ever-after: Jack Tempchin is a Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, having penned hits for The Eagles (“Peaceful Easy Feeling”) and Johnny Rivers. When it comes to the recipe for a great holiday song, Tempchin says it all boils down to one major ingredient.
“The whole thing about songs, I think, is a quality that I call ‘likability,’” he says. “You just hear it and you like it.”
