DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has submitted its recommendations to Governor Nathan Deal following an investigation of the government in DeKalb County.
Agents said the FBI's public corruption unit was already aware of most of the allegations, and have already investigated them. They said one allegation is currently an active case by the DeKalb County Police Department. But as for the rest, agents said any violations were ethical, and cannot be prosecuted criminally.
The GBI concluded no new investigation is needed.
