HALL COUNTY, Ga. - A Flowery Branch man has been arrested for breaking into multiple cars last year.
Michael Ross JR Holloman, 28, has been charged with six counts of entering a car to steal and one count each of transaction card fraud and 4th-degree forgery.
According to the Hall County Sheriff's Office, Holloman committed crimes between April 20, 2017, and May 10, 2017. Investigators think he broke into seven vehicles and stole a number of items, including cash, checks, credit cards, purses, and wallets.
Authorities later determined Holloman used a stolen card during one of the car break-ins to buy chocolate, drinks, gasoline, and lighters.
Investigators said the forgery charge was related to a stolen check the suspect deposited into his bank account last April.
Holloman was arrested on Wednesday, July 15, at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification State Prison in Jackson. He was booked into the Hall County Jail the same day.
Holloman waived his first appearance on Thursday and remained in jail on an $18,100 bond Friday morning.
