Emergency crews respond to fire at Mall of Georgia

Firefighters responded to the Mall of Georgia where a small fire evacuated mall-goers in Gwinnett Country. The fire has been extinguished.

What we know:

Firefighters responded to the Mall of Georgia after a small fire broke out in a janitorial storage closet located behind Victoria's Secret and GNC. 

A walk-behind floor cleaner accidentally caused the blaze, but the mall's sprinkler system extinguished the fire before crews arrived. 

Firefighters confirmed the fire was accidental and completed their response at the shopping center. The scene has been turned over to Mall of Georgia property management. 

Customers inside the mall at the time of the fire said they were briefly evacuated while crews cleared the scene.
