Firefighters battle large blaze at Fayetteville home

No one was injured when fire destroyed a home in Fayette County early Wednesday morning. Neighbors called 911 about the fire just before 6 a.m. at the home off of Porter Road. Fire crews said the home was "well involved" when they arrived on scene.

Firefighters had to bring in water tankers because there were no fire hydrants nearby. Video shot by SKYFOX 5 showed the home was leveled in the blaze.

Investigators at first could not determine whether anyone was inside. Wednesday afternoon, they learned that the occupants left the home Monday night to stay in Senoia, and there was no one inside at the time of the fire.

Investigators did not have an immediate cause of the fire.
