A fire devoured a home on Walt Stephens Road in Clayton County early Wednesday.
Neighbors feared the family who calls the single story house home was inside. Fire crews battled the intense flames and then searched through the rubble. It turned up empty. The two adults and three children were not found.
It's believed noone was home. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
