The GBI has identified a suspect in a murder at a Norcross hotel Saturday morning.

Police say on Sept. 14, officers were called to a Hometown Suites on the 6200 block of Jimmy Carter Boulevard after reports of shots fired.

When they got to the scene, officers found 30-year-old Darian Glover dead in the hotel's hallway with gunshot wounds.

During the investigation, GBI agents and Norcross detectives discovered that that morning Glover and 30-year-old Jayvon Wilkins had a verbal fight that morning. Both of the men had been staying in separate rooms at the hotel.

During that argument, witnesses told police they heard multiple shots fired and saw Wilkins fleeing the hotel.

Police have obtained warrants for Wilkins' arrest. He is now on the run wanted for malice murder and aggravated assault.

If you have any information about Wilkins' location or the shooting, please call the GBI Atlanta Field Office at 770-388-5019.
