COWETA COUNTY, Ga. - A 44-year-old man faces drug charges after Coweta County deputies pulled over his vehicle on I-85 and found nearly 50 pounds of methamphetamine inside.
What we know:
Special agents with the Coweta County Sheriff's Office Crime Suppression Unit pulled over a Chevy Tahoe traveling south on I-85 on July 15.
During the investigation, agents discovered 44 pounds of suspected methamphetamine inside the vehicle.
Deputies also found an assortment of other drugs directly on the driver, identified as Antoine Decarlos Standifer.
Authorities booked Standifer into the Coweta County Jail on trafficking and possession charges.
