DULUTH, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police are searching for a couple in connection with a purse theft in Duluth last month.
On January 24, a woman's purse was stolen out of her vehicle at a Planet Fitness in Duluth. Then, a man was captured on surveillance video at a Duluth Walmart using the woman's stolen credit card to buy Walmart gift cards.
According to police, the suspect is accused of then using the gift cards at a Walmart in Lilburn the same night.
The next day, on January 25, the man was seen with a woman and the couple is accused of using some of the gift cards again at the Lilburn Walmart.
Police said the couple was traveling in a dark-colored SUV the day the purse was stolen, then in a white SUV the following day.
