COBB COUNTY, Ga. - The Cobb County School Board is looking to hire between 500 and 700 new teachers next year.
The state's second largest school system is putting on a big job fair this week to find the right candidates.
"We're looking for anyone. Regular ed., special ed. especially though if you're able to do a hard-to-fill position, STEM, science, math, foreign language, special ed.,” said Deputy Superintendent John Adams.
The Elementary Hiring Fair will be held March 28 at Hillgrove High School from 5 to 9 p.m. The Middle and High Hiring Fairs will be held March 30 at Kennesaw Mountain High School, also from 5 to 9 p.m.
