JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - The remains of a missing Clayton County man have been found in Alabama, authorities said Friday.
Shawn David Jackson, 49, had been reported missing from Clayton County on July 7.
On Aug. 8, human remains were found near Shady Grove Road and Village Creek in Jefferson County, Alabama. On Friday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the body was identified as Jackson.
The case remains under investigation.
