CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. - The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office needs your help to find a man accused of robbing a check cashing clerk at gunpoint Sunday.
The armed robbery happened at the Atlanta Check Cashers store on Highway 92 in Acworth around 3 a.m. Deputies said a man wearing all black clothing and carrying a large backpack pulled out a gun and demanded money from the store clerk.
The clerk gave the suspect an unknown amount of cash and the suspect ran away from the business, according to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.
