Calls for hate crime law
Faith groups call on Georgia lawmakers to pass a hate crime law
ATLANTA - A group of faith leaders has now called on Georgia lawmakers to enact a hate crimes law during the 2020 Legislative Session.
Demonstrators held a news conference at the State Capitol Monday morning to speak in favor of Senate Bill 166 which would criminalize various types of bias-motivated violence or intimidation.
Georgia is one of four states without a hate crime law.
