GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Some Gwinnett County students and staff were sent home early Tuesday after complaining of itchy eyes and scratchy throats.
The school district sent a text alert to Archer High School parents.
Officials said students were in science class when they began experiencing symptoms.
All neighboring classrooms were evacuated and the fire department was called in.
The district said a test of the air failed to pick up on any chemicals or foreign substances.
