ATLANTA - An Atlanta police officer is in the hospital after being involved in a car wreck while on duty early Wednesday morning.
Police said the officer was responding to a help call just after 1 a.m. Wednesday on Metropolitan Parkway. The patrol car overturned and the officer needed help to get out.
Atlanta Police said the officer was wearing his seat belt and is expected to be fine.
