Another death at site fatal shooting on Sunday
Atlanta police responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex on Cushman Circle around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday. A man was shot at the same complex Sunday afternoon. He got into a woman’s car, and she tried to drive him to a hospital, but he died about nine miles from the scene. FOX 5 Atlanta's Marc Teichner reporting.
ATLANTA - Police are investigating after a person was found dead early Tuesday at a southwest Atlanta apartment complex where a man was fatally shot two days earlier.
What we know:
Officers responded to a shooting call on Cushman Circle around 3:30 a.m. The complex is near Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Interstate 285 on Atlanta’s west side.
FOX 5 Atlanta observed a reported a large police presence at the complex Tuesday morning. Investigators appeared to be concentrating their work in a parking lot near Building G.
Police had not released the person’s identity or said how the person died by 5 a.m. Tuesday. They also had not confirmed whether the person had been shot.
