Police investigate double shooting in southwest Atlanta
Atlanta Police Department is investigating after two individuals were confirmed shot near Oakland Lane SW in southwest Atlanta.
ATLANTA - Atlanta police are investigating after two men were shot in a southwest Atlanta neighborhood Wednesday afternoon by a suspect on an E-bike, according to authorities.
What we know:
Atlanta police said that its officers received a call to Fire Station 14 on Lee Street SW after a 27-year-old man and a 38-year-old man arrived looking for help after they had been shot.
Authorities said after investigating they found the incident originated near an apartment complex in the 1100 block of Oakland Lane SW.
Police added that the two men were standing outside on Oakland Lane SW when an alleged suspect riding an E-bike pulled up and opened fire.
Authorities confirmed both men were alert and awake when they were taken to the hospital.
SKYFOX 5 showed Atlanta police gathering evidence near a discarded electric scooter as they blocked off the street with crime scene tape while investigators worked to establish the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Authorities have not released the identity of either victim.
Police have also not provided information regarding potential suspects or what led up to the gunfire.
