A new university experiment asked participants to react to images of women with or without cosmetics.
Respondents said that women with more makeup likely had poor leadership skills, appeared less trustworthy, and were less likely to be considered strong leaders.
On the other hand, a so-called natural look was deemed the most trustworthy.
