A barber shop has been slapped with a fine for refusing to cut a woman's hair in Pennsylvania.

The barber in Washington, Pennsylvania doesn't just give men's haircuts. It's a place for men to relax with a cocktail or a beer, but the owner John Interval is now facing legal action from the Pennsylvania Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs.

Interval said he didn't know he has to service both genders.

Interval said he will respect the law and pay the $750 fine.
