ATLANTA - Celebrating St. Patrick's Day At Woodstock's Papa P's:
It's become a Good Day Atlanta tradition -- spending St. Patrick's Day at one of North Georgia's most unique Irish eateries.
Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken spent the morning at Papa P's in Woodstock, a restaurant which bills itself as "Mexican with an Irish Side." The restaurant was created by Alberto Catalan and his wife Caron -- he's originally from Mexico, and she's from Ireland. Together, they created a unique menu which blends both of their cultures.
Papa P's opened early on St. Patrick's Day, welcoming Paul and the gang for a very tasty celebration!

The sandwich is sliced brisket, sliced jalapeno cheddar sausage, avocado and tomatillo salsa, picked red onions, and Cojita cheese on a bun.
For the purposes of a demo, here is the recipe for the avocado and tomatillo salsa:
1lb cooked tomatillos
1 Serrano chile
2 cloves garlic
1/4 white onion
1 cup chopped cilantro
1 avocado
1 teaspoon salt
Take the cooked tomatillos, Serrano, garlic and onion and purée in a blender. Once puréed strain the mix to remove seeds and pulp from tomatillos. Add mix back to blender and add avocado, salt and cilantro and blend.
