ATLANTA - It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Embassy Suites Atlanta Centennial Olympic Park, with nearly two-dozen special trees decorating the hotel's atrium.
The hotel's first annual Festival of Trees is happening now, and will continue through January 1st. The event is a fundraiser, as more than twenty local non-profit organizations each decorated a tree and visitors can "vote" for their favorite with a donation to that tree's charity. Each organization gets to keep the money its tree raises, and the tree with the most donations get an additional $1,000 from Ruth's Chris Steak House Restaurants. There's no charge to visit the Festival of Trees -- and parking is free.
