It’s been an annual tradition for more than three decades, and now the Riverfest Arts and Crafts Festival is moving to a brand-new location.

This year’s Riverfest will take place in Etowah River Park, located on Brown Industrial Parkway in Canton.  The arts and crafts festival is a fundraiser for the Service League of Cherokee County, which is the oldest volunteers service organization in the county with a mission to provide necessities to children in need.

Riverfest will take place Saturday, September 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday the 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and features more than 200 vendors selling their handmade arts and crafts, and the event is also a juried show for those artists, awarding prizes for Fine Arts, Crafts, and Gourmet Products.

Last year, Riverfest drew a crowd of more than 25,000 people and raised more than $100,000 for the Service League of Cherokee County.
