First-graders give Falcons a pep talk

A first-grade writing assignment turned into a pep talk for the Atlanta Falcons. Teacher Miss Chang asked her students to share advice for the team after its 0-2 start, and the children offered encouragement to try harder, run faster, keep their eyes on the ball and never give up. Chang’s students believe their advice helped the Falcons beat the 49ers, while the teacher says the classroom tradition helps build a sense of community.
