Covington cold case solved through new DNA test

Conyers police identified human remains found along Creekside Lane as Tammy Fortson, who vanished from Covington in 1997. Although advanced DNA technology provided answers to her family after nearly 30 years, investigators state her cause of death remains inconclusive.
