Michael Carbonaro bringing ‘Wonder Boy’ to Sandy Springs

Magician and comedy star Michael Carbonaro joins Good Day Atlanta to preview his new live show, “Wonder Boy,” coming to the Byers Theatre at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center. Best known for “The Carbonaro Effect,” Carbonaro says the touring show combines illusions, comedy, audience participation and plenty of unpredictable moments as he attempts to fool hundreds of people at once. He also explains how a childhood newspaper article inspired the “Wonder Boy” name and why performing for a live audience remains his favorite kind of magic.
