Son accused of trying to kill mother before 100 mph chase

A 19-year-old man faces aggravated assault and false imprisonment charges after attempting to strangle his mother in a Cartersville grocery store parking lot and leading police on a 100 mph chase that ended in a Gordon County crash, according to police.
