Friday midday weather forecast

Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts! FOX 5 Storm Team meteorologist Marquise Meda says metro Atlanta will see a warm and breezy Friday, with temperatures climbing into the upper 70s and possibly reaching 80 degrees. Halloween will bring mostly cloudy skies and temperatures in the lower 70s, with just a 20% chance of showers during the evening trick-or-treating hours. After 20 consecutive days without rain, North Georgia could finally get some much-needed relief, with a 40% chance of showers Sunday and more rain expected by midweek. Some areas could receive 1 to 2 inches over the next seven days. Temperatures will cool into the 60s Sunday, just as daylight saving time ends and we gain an extra hour of sleep.
