Medley’s Tree Bar anchors new Johns Creek gathering spot

Medley, a 43-acre mixed-use community in Johns Creek, is preparing to open Thursday with 25 restaurants and retailers, residential space and more than 100 events planned throughout the year. The segment tours the Tree Bar, built around a preserved 40-year-old willow oak, and previews an entertainment plaza with a stage, custom lighting and a large screen. The development is at 2140 Medley Boulevard, with a ribbon-cutting scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday.
