UGA study links higher GLP-1 costs to less consistent use
A new UGA study is looking at how cost affects people’s use of weight-loss medication. Researchers found patients at every cost level had trouble staying on schedule with their medication, but those paying more than 75 dollars a month out of pocket were less likely to take it consistently. Joining us is the study’s lead author, Dr. Eunhae Shin, from UGA's College of Public Health.
