Falcons logo draws backlash before 49ers game

The Falcons are facing online criticism over a social media profile image featuring the team’s vintage emblem and colored stripes, prompting comparisons similar to those made about a 2024 profile picture. The team is preparing to host the San Francisco 49ers Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, where it will wear 1966-inspired throwback uniforms. Big Boi is also scheduled to perform, and a limited-edition Falcons and Outkast collection celebrating the 30th anniversary of ATLiens will be available online and at the stadium.
