'Kia Boys Crime Spree': How social media ramped up car thefts

 Since 2020, the country has seen an uptick in thefts targeting certain Kia and Hyundai vehicles. You may have heard of the "Kia Boys Crime Spree". A recent UCLA study shows the trend will increase for the next several years. Joining us now to talk about how social media and TikTok stoked the spread of the thefts is UCLA anthropologist Jeffrey Brantingham.
