Some summer-like weather is on the way in the days ahead

A few showers and storms early on Friday and then more by Friday afternoon. Some of the storms in north Georgia could be severe with damaging winds. Highs on Friday into the 80s and warmer still for the weekend. The next best chance for showers and storms will be on Monday.
