ATLANTA - Republican vice presidential candidate Governor Mike Pence held several rallies in Georgia. He held an evening rally in Cobb County.
The first stop is a town hall at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry.

"He's as genuine as a Georgia peach," Pence said about Trump at the start of the rally Monday afternoon. "He is a fighter. He is a winner."
Following the event in Perry, Pence will hold a rally at the Cobb-Marietta Coliseum at 7:30 p.m. He also added another event to his schedule for Tuesday afternoon in Dalton.
These appearances are increasingly important for the Trump-Pence ticket, because recent polling has shown Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton with a lead over Donald Trump in Georgia.
