NEWNAN, Ga. - Employees at a gas station in Newnan are on edge after two people robbed the store at gunpoint early Sunday.
The owner of the Shell station on McCollum Station said the duo hit the store around 3 a.m. and made off with cash and cigarettes. No customers or clerks were hurt during the incident. Surveillance video shows the pair entering and leaving the store in a black or dark-colored car, according to employees.
The Coweta County Sheriff's Office confirmed to FOX 5 deputies are investigating the case.
The gas station owner says this is the second time in six months thieves have targeted his business.
