Suspected DUI driver arrested after going wrong way on Gwinnett County road, police say

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - A Gainesville woman is facing multiple charges after Gwinnett County police say they caught her driving on the wrong side of the road.
The Gwinnett County officer's dash cam caught the moment he spotted the driver near Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.
What we know:
According to police, the incident happened around 2:45 a.m. on Jan. 12 on Nelson Brogdon Boulevard.
In the video, the driver, identified as 27-year-old Yuris Garcia Galvez, made a U-turn in front of Sgt. Kingsley's patrol vehicle and kept driving the wrong way.
Kingsley put on his sirens, but the car continued down the street. The chase ended when the officer used a PIT maneuver to turn the car around.

Gwinnett PD stops suspected DUI driver
Officials say Yuris Garcia Galvez was spotted by an officer making a U-turn and driving the wrong way on a Gwinnett County road. An officer used a pit maneuver to stop the driver.
After the vehicle stopped, the officer did a breathalyzer test on Galvez and took her into custody.
What's next:
Galvez was charged with DUI, driving on the wrong side of the roadway, and fleeing or attempting to elude police.
She was taken to the Gwinnett County Jail. It is not known if she was granted bond.
