Soft lockdown lifted at Lilburn elementary school

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - A Gwinnett County elementary school was placed on a soft lockdown Thursday following a nearby police investigation.

Police told FOX 5 they were looking for two men accused of trying to break into a home on Minor Creek Way. However, the search was suspended.

As a result of the search, Minor Elementary School in Lilburn was placed on a soft lockdown,

The lockdown was lifted shortly after Noon. Gwinnett County Schools said students have resumed to normal activities.
