PINSON, Tenn. (AP) - A sheriff in West Tennessee who is involved in a days-long search for a missing toddler says he still believes the boy will be found.
Searchers have been looking for 2-year-old Noah Chamberlin since Thursday afternoon, when his grandmother says he walked away during a nature walk. He disappeared in the Pinson area, which is near the Madison-Chester County line.
The Jackson Sun reports Chester County Sheriff Blair Weaver believes the boy is still in the search area.
Weaver would not say Monday whether searchers have found any evidence of Noah. Weaver says authorities have searched caves, checked the sex offender list and used every type of dog available.
Searchers are covering an area of 1,000 or more acres, Weaver said, and are expanding the search area daily.
