ATLANTA - The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office released the identity of a woman killed in a Northwest Atlanta fire.
68-year-old Daisy Thomas wasn't able to get out of the house when a fire started inside her Hightower Road home on Friday.
A man was able to escape the home. Neighbors saw him run out with his clothes on fire.
He’s is at Grady with burns over 60-percent of his body.
Authorities say a propane heater in the living room, placed too close to a couch started the fire.
