ATLANTA - Two women tell FOX 5 News, they were horrified when a man groped them while they were out for an early evening jog.
"He came from behind me and grabbed me," said the first victim, whose identity was hidden by FOX 5. "I screamed. I didn't know what was happening," she said.
Police said the woman's ordeal happened early Monday evening, while the victim said it was still daylight. She said while she was jogging alone, a man started running alongside her; as she ran on Virginia Avenue, she told us the man grabbed her backside.
Minutes later, police said they received another 911 call, just blocks away, from a woman who said she was ambushed on Greenwood Avenue. The woman told FOX 5, she was jogging and walked to take a break, when a man ambushed her from behind and groped her.
Police said the description of the suspect is a medium-complexion African American male, wearing a neon-yellow colored shirt or vest, with light-colored jeans.
People walking or jogging are advised to be aware of their surroundings, jog without their headphones, or find a partner to run or walk with.
