ATLANTA - Police in Atlanta are searching for a thief who took off in a car with three children inside it.
It happened around 9 p.m. Wednesday outside a restaurant located at 2565 Donald Lee Howell Parkway in northwest Atlanta. Investigators said they recovered the car and found the children safe still inside, but the thief was still on the run as of 10:30 p.m.
The ages of the children were not yet released.
Police are looking into if the keys were left in the vehicle at the time of the theft.
