Police looking for man in body armor after shooting on Boone Boulevard

ATLANTA - Atlanta Police are looking into a shooting that left a man with a bullet wound to the face Saturday afternoon.
The victim was found on the 1200 block of Joseph E. Boone Boulevard in northwest Atlanta.
Although he was injured, officers said he was also alert, conscious and breathing. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police have released a photo of the possible suspect. They say the victim was shot by a man wearing body armor and armed with a shotgun.
An investigation into this incident remains ongoing.
